ChinaResources(Holdings)Co.,Ltd.(“CR”or“ChinaResourcesGroup”)isadiversifiedholdingcompanyregisteredinHongKong.CRwasfirstestablishedas“Liow&Co.”inHongKongin1938,andwaslaterrestructuredandrenamedasChinaResourcesCompanyin1948.In1952,insteadofbeingaffiliatedtotheGeneralOfficeoftheCPCCentralCommittee,itcameundertheCentralTradeDepartment(nowknownastheMinistryofCommerce).In1983,itwasagainrestructuredintoChinaResources(Holdings)Co.,Ltd.InDecember1999,CRwasnolongerlinkedtotheMinistryofForeignTradeandEconomicCooperation,andcameunderstatemanagement.In2003,underthedirectsupervisionofSASAC,itbecameoneofthekeystate-ownedenterprises.
